Kana Hoshino's style

みんなさん、こんばんは。

Actually now I'm supposed to be studying for my Saturday's exam, but, eheh ^^

So I've decided to make a quick post about my fav ever model:

Kana Hoshino, from PopSister magazine.

First of all I want to explain why I love so much this magazine.
Mainly it's beacuse of (or thanks to) their true "mess" of styles! You can find almost e.v.e.r.i.t.h.i.n.g. there! A lot of rock style (like Wei Son's style), but also gipsy and ojikawa&obakaw. From the Tsubasa's romantic rock style, to the Yui's sweet style, you MUST find something suitable for you!
About me, well, I don't have a specific style, but, incredibly, I'd love to wear more or less every outfit shown in PopSister, from rock to gipsy (just some of Aya&Ami outfits I wouldn't wear- just too much street style-but I'm still loving those girls!).

Up to now, the model I liked most, has been Kana.
I think she's one of the "oldest" Popsister models (over 25, possible?), but she's so...BAMBI!
I preferred her with looong hair, her hairstyle was amazing (you can see it in the picture above), and actually it's the one I'd like to achieve *-* fringe+long wavy hair <3

Btw, with short hair she's cute too!

She has a very intense make up, focused on eyes: big (usually) dark lenses, bottom and upper lashes, black eyeliner, and very natural lips, with gloss only.
I prefer this kind of look than nude lips, or Tsubasa's ones...

But let's talk of her style!
I can summarize it like this:
  •  heels/boots
  • socks
  • minidresses
  •  cardigans or shirts or jackets over them
  • hats
  • wavy hair.
I know it sounds pretty simple, but in my opinion this style is simply amazing.
Here you are a few examples:

I love LOVE this look. Lace up boots ( I need to buy them *-*), minidress (it looks like a playsuit), military jacket and cute hat. And her big eyes!

Another cute look, simple but not less fashionable. Over-the-knee socks, white long top, gray long knit cardi. I wear a similar outfit to go to university by replacing heels with rock boots (I call them rock because they've studs on XD)^^

Sweety! Fur boots, nice mini dress, ponpon hat. Usefull outfit, you just need to add a knit cardi over it, maybe extra-size in order to maintain this dolly/baby look (bigger the outfit is, smaller you'll appear).

How cuuute!!
Check shirt is a must, and with Snoopy is super cool! If you have a nice pattern of it (or another comics character), you could just sew it on the shirt^^ This will make your check shirt a super cool check shirt!
Used denim shorts, and cowboy boots (personally I wouldn't wear them, and every kind of boots are ok!).

A cream outfit, with, again, lace up boots and socks^^ Minidress+open shirt this time, and knit hat. Maybe this outfit is better on warmer days, but anyway it's a good inspiration!

And finally...

NIIICEE!!
Isn't it a bit mode-ish?
I like those boots to pieces!
Boots, tight paginsu and a big cardi to make contrast. The point? Fuuur!

Tu sum up, I think Kana's style is pretty easy to achieve, and suitable for every occasions: from school (maybe avoiding heels), to office, to shopping, to go out at night (without jackets or cardigans over the minidress and with red lipstick for example)...So far it's the style that represents me the most *-*
You don't even need to buy from gyaru brands, beacause all key elements can be found in every store!
And for those girls like me, who couldn't afford to buy from Japan and only from gyaru brands, Kana's style is perfect!
You just need to be a bit creative^^ It's fun!

Do you buy from expensive brands, or do you recreate fashionable outfits with cheaper clothes?
About me, I buy a lot from h&m, zara, oviesse, new yorker...

Talking a bit more about styles, I like Tsubasa too, but I think her style is too childish for my taste, and on the other hand Wei Son's style is too rock and grunge, and Yui Kanno's one is too sweet U.U Anyway I appreciate those models !

So girls, what do you think of Kana's style?

Would you like to see more models's style posts on this blog?^^

Nails, make up, shopping

! ∼
∼こんにちは
 げんきですか
I'm so sorry I didn't post before, but I was incredibly busy with my exams U.U
Yesterday I did my Italian literature one, and today I have plenty of time for posting, !
ヤイ

First of all, I will show you how to create this kind of look (again inspired by a post at graphic-noise blog - you could find the exact link in my first post ^^).

Here you are the material I used:

Protect and cover you nails with a first coat of transparent polish

Let it dry and then apply the mat blue polish

Before applying the darker blue in a sort of "curve", I put on sellotepe around my nails, to avoid my skin to get dirty^^

Then apply the shimmer dark blue doing a curve

Finally apply a top coat (I used a shimmery one) to make your nails lasting longer, and you're done!

Hope you liked it!
__________

And now I'd like to show you my daily make up, used to go to universtity etc.

It's quite simple, but it really illuminates and enlarges your eyes!

I apply a pearly pink eyeshadow as a base, then put brown eyeshadow only in the crease of my eye, blending well.
I use liquid eyeliner in the top, and pencil eyeliner in the bottom (only in the middle), and finally I apply Naturalites top false lashes, and Colossal mascara by maybelline (so good *-*).

Well I was wondering if I should buy some japanese make up, like Canmake, but isn't it a bit expensive??
The product, and shipping...<.< I'm not very sure... What about the quality?

______

A bit of shopping!

Alien by Thierry Mugler eau de parfum --LOOOVE IT! (about 40€, 30ml)
h&m ring and bracelet: each one 3€ (on sale)
new yorker watch: 9,95€
new yorker military shirt: 19.95€ (I'll use it as a jaket, like Kana Hoshino does often *-*)

____

Well, for now that's all, but in the next few days I'll make a post about my favourite ever model, the always fashionable and beautiful Kana Hoshino, from Popsister mag <3

And I'm leaving you with a question: what kind of lenses do you think Aya is wearing?
I love how she looks, and I'd like to recreate her make up *-*

I think they could be the neo cosmo dali brown:

Suggestions?^^

Cheap nail art

Hi!

This is just a quick post about what I did this morning  ∼after only 3 hours of sleep ohoh  ∼

First of all, here you are the material I used:

Barbie glitter set∼pink&silver glitters plus pink big stars&hearts 5.60€
Essence small silver stars & purple hearts 4,40 €
a toothpick

It has been ages that I wanted to try some nail art *-*, so yesterday I bought the two boxes in the middle, and this morning when I walked my friend to the station I found that amazing Barbie glitter set!! It catched my eye with all those glitters <3
Actually to have it I had to buy the magazine (U.U''), the wonderful "Barbie world"! And to be honest, I've found in it a few original ideas to make happy colored biscuits ( I'll post pictures^^) and some bricolage to create nice house/clothes decorations ^^

But, back to the central topic, here you are what I came out with:

Basically I apllied one coat of transparent polish, then, I quickly applied the various decorations with the toothpick, and finally covered them with other coats of the same polish. Actually I'm a bit afraid my nails are too fragile (I'm afraid of putting on jeans for instance...), but I guess I just need to get the habit!

I applied pink glitters on the top of a few fingers ∼hope you can see it.

I have to say I really appreciate "noisy" nails, and for noisy I mean not ordinary, not in "order", like...messy, coloured, and that was what I wanted to achieve, and I must say, I'm really satisfied with the result ^^

The next time I'd love to buy a few swarovsky crystals *-*

And what about you?
Do you like experimenting with your nails? Do you do your own nails or do you prefer going to a professional nail artist? What are you favourite kind of nail art desings?

Changing topic, talking about my life, I still have two days of lessons (of only Italian Literature), then I'll be on "holiday", which means I'll be on a "hard time of study", getting ready for my exams...my first university exams! AH!
The first is Italian Literature, which, as everyone older says, is very hard, with a huge program (but I must admit, very interesting!), then I have English linguistics (which is Functional Grammar...but don't ask me to explain better XD not yet at least...) and then Italian linguistics.
Languages exams are only at the end of the year  ∼ :**, along with their literatures (in my case, Japanese&American lit.) and history.

Up to now I'm so satisfied with my choice! I love my university, my classes, my mates and most of all, Japanese *-* Kanji, grammar, vocabulary...everything^^

Are there any of you who study japanese? Are you interested in languages?

Next update will be with my birthday pictures  ∼romantic rock/mode-ish

Viviちゃんです。

こんにちは

My name is Vivi, nice to meet you *-*
I'm 18 ys old, almost 19 in a couple of days, and I live in a nice town in Italy. Every morning I take the train to get to my university, and I'm out almost all day long but I really don't care as soon as I'm doing what I really like: studying Japanese!!
やい
Well, obviously I have to study many more subjects, but they are quite interesting after all ^^

What I want to do with my japanese skills in the future?
Probably I'd try to get hired by w*c store in  とうきょうhoho^^
Unfortunately I haven't seen many gaijin gyaru as shop staff BUT, hope never dies =P

I'm particularly obsessed with fashion, I read - or better saying watch pictures of- a lot of Japanese magazines, in particular PopSister and Mix used. I totally love the style they propose, they're such an inspiration to me **
My favourite models are Aya&Ami (it was love at a first sight with them <3), Kana Hoshino and Shizuka Takeda. About my style...well I suppose I could define it as

Incoherent.

I envy so much those gals with a clear fashion style, but unfortunately I'm not in that group :( I change my mind so often, one moment I'm like "Oh my god, this is my style!", and I turn out as the most enthusiastic girl on the planet, but then, the moment later "Woow, that is my style!", and I just get confused U.U
After several identity crisis I realized that, gosh, I don't need a label! I can be the girl I want to be every second, I could be mode-ish, gipsy, casual, whatever.

So, my blog will be something like that, I suppose. A mess. A mess of styles, of things, but I hope you could enjoy it, and I hope to have fun while writing it!

But now some pictures じゃじゃ

For this first casual look I was inspired by this pic:

*from December issue of PopSister*

comfortable, cute and simple ^^
In Italy isn't very cold actually, but somewhere else I think a good idea could be match this outfit with legwarmers and a fur vest.

extra sized striped top: Yesstyle.com 8,90€
pink trainers: superga (cuter than converse in my opinion) 25€
heart long necklace: h&m old collection
kuma hairband: childhood treasure!
And now the makeup:

Geo Angel Brown I<3u! I was wearing extra long cheap top lashes (found in Camden town), bronze eye shadow, eyeliner and a short line of eye pencil that really gives more depth to your eyes!
ありがとうEgg!
For the lips I used a pink lipstick and I followed Yui Kanno's advice of putting lip gloss only in the middle^^

*****

And now another look inspired by Shizuka Takeda modeling for Galstar (yes, I do found inspiration even from on-line stores):

Love love love! And that's what I came out with:

Vintage sweater (mmh...I don't know the correct word in English for this ;.;)
Sarrouel pants: Tally Welly 15 €

Ethnic earrings&ring: both from h&m
my beloved wedge boots: Tally Welly 30€

And finally my new nails! To make them I was inspired by this post in Nicola's blog! If you don't know it yet check it, it's amazing *-*

both polishes -dark lilac&white- where form KIKO, 3,90 € each

And now this post has to end.

ばいばい =3
